About Me

My nine to five is at an elementary public school in Henderson, Nevada. I teach a self-contained autism class. I love to teach, and I am passionate about quality education for all. I have taught high school English, College English 101, 5th grade, self-contained primary autism and intermediate autism. Though teaching was my first love, writing was always the passion I fit into the nooks and crannies of my life. I got my Master's in English from UNLV with a focus in environmental rhetoric. When I'm not teaching, lesson planning, or writing, I love to spend time with my two kids, husband, and my German Shepherd named Lucy.
